I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but it’s been a bit serious around here lately. No, you haven’t? Ah, you haven’t read anything here for a few days. I don’t blame you. Too solemn and earnest. Quite trying, really.
I decided that I should try to cheer things up a bit, inject a bit of “light and airy” and “sunshiny” into this here blog. While wondering what I should write in this vein, I idly google imaged the words “light and airy” and “sunshiny”. Here is what I came up with…
1. I’m not sure how this can be categorised as either light or airy. Late-20th century Gothic grandparents perhaps, but I admit that I’m struggling to see the sunshine in this one.
On second thought, perhaps this is supposed to be surrealist and not Gothic? Mmmm, bacon …
2. Next up was this stylish pair of summery … um, slides? sandals? clodhoppers?
I like to call this one “Ugly Goldy Silver … Things”
3. Now, I can see how this one could be light and airy if it was, let me see, light.
Not light. In fact, rather shadowy.
4. At first I couldn’t even work out what this IS. I’m not good with technical stuff.
Apparently NOT a speed radar gun as I first thought.
Turns out it is a bike light. Yes, I was confused too. Oh, you weren’t? I’m not sure we can be friends anymore.
5. This next one is kind of a visual play on words. Which I didn’t think of.
An airy light. Geddit??
6. I don’t even know where to start with this one.
Too sunshiny. Hurts my eyes.
It was at this point that I retired to a chaise lounge, hand flung dramatically up against my forehead, and completely emotionally drained. I’m clearly not cut out for airy or sunshiny or light. Or google imaging. You’ve broken me, Google. Normal programming will resume tomorrow. I promise.
